Everett blows three leads

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Everett Silvertips blew three leads as Kamloops scored the final four goals for a 6-4 Western Hockey League victory Tuesday night.

The Silvertips led 1-0, 2-1 and 4-2, but Kamloops took the lead for good at 5-4 when C.J. Stretch scored at the 12:59 mark of the third period. The Blazers scored the clinching goal with seven seconds left in the game.

Zach Hamill scored the first two goals for Everett, giving him 10 for the season. Shane Harper and Jonathan Harty also scored for the Silvertips.

It was a tough evening for Everett goaltender Leland Irving, allowing all six of Kamloops’ goals on 38 shots.
